Big!
Awesome mousepad. It feels indestructable. Regular use will not make it slide. The mouse itself slides over the surface easily and smoothely. But check the size. This is a very large pad. It is almost the same size as my widescreen monitor. People with small desks may want to find a standard sized pad, but for people with a lot of desk space and are serious about gaming this one rocks.

Steel Series 5L
This pad is great! I'm not too thrilled about the graphics (it screams GAMER), but my parents didn't flinch when they saw it, so I guess it's not too bad. My Razor Death Adder flies around on the pad, but there is enough resistance to be precise if you place a little more weight on the mouse. It is sturdy and I have not had a problem with the pad slipping on my desk. Also, it is fairly large--picture two pieces of notebook paper side-by-side.

Flawless
I have tried out many mouse pads, the icemat, the func archetype 1030 etc. and i have to say that the 5L blows them all away. The design is awesome and the size is perfect, you have plenty of room for whatever game you play. I use the new Logitech G5 v2 with the 5L and it is AMAZING. I highly recommend either buying the G5 v2 mouse or the MX 518 (both from logitech). Don't buy the version one G5 because it lacks a side button on the mouse and it's just a pain.
