Customer Reviews
Best book to learn Illustrator!
If your new (or even intermediate) to Illustrator, you will learn plenty by using this well laid out book. The tutorials are very easy to follow and having full color examples, are more helpful than b/w images!
Great Full Color Book
This is a great book if you are just getting started with Illustrator or if you are like me and just need a refresher on what some of the features are in this latest version. The full color examples (figures, color palettes, panels, etc) made it easy to follow along in the book and the color tips really make helpful information stand out.
Better books out there
This is not what I expected. Everything, should mean everything, and it doesn't cover everything. The "Real World" series is a much better line of books for teaching the graphic design software. It's not even a good reference. I was looking for a specific task such as converting text to paths and it doesn't show it. In other places it refers to buttons but doesn't say where they are, etc.
